I live on a farm in rural Tyler County with my husband, Rich. We have two sons who are exploring the arts in Seattle.
I have always loved fibers and fabrics. Some of my favorite childhood memories include long summer days of making Barbie doll clothes. My Mom taught me to sew and I made my first dress at age 8. The sewing machine opened a whole new world and I went on to study Home Economics in college. Since then I have loved to explore other crafts such as spinning, weaving, basketry, stained glass, and most recently paper and fabric marbling.
Since retiring I have “jumped in the deep end” and joined the Artisans Co-op. It has been a wonderful opportunity to learn from other talented crafters and artisans and spend more time doing what I love.
